BEFORE YOU BUY

When should I replace the cartridge?

Vita Refill cartridges last two to three months, depending on household shower use.

Questions

Frequently asked questions about SUHAE shower filters

Does a shower filter reduce water pressure?

Radiance and Nourish recorded a mean flow rate of 5.0 L/min with the complete filtration system installed. Aera Flow shapes the spray through fine triangular openings. Universal uses your existing showerhead, while Aura has a manufacturer-supplied flow figure.

Do shower water filters really work?

A good one does, and you can check ours. The Korea Environment and Water Works Institute tested our vitamin C cartridge and found no residual chlorine at any point from 1,000 to 6,000 litres (certificate IW-230133). Vitamin C, which is ascorbic acid, reacts with chlorine as the water passes through and turns it into chloride. The first thing most people notice is the chlorine smell going.

Does NZ tap water have chlorine in it?

Yes, if you are on town water. New Zealand suppliers disinfect with free chlorine and keep a small residual in the pipes so the water stays safe all the way to your tap. Christchurch has been chlorinated since March 2018. Tank and bore water is usually not chlorinated.

What is the difference between Radiance, Nourish, Aura and Universal?

Radiance is the flagship filtered handshower, available in chrome or black. Nourish offers the same core filtration and spray technology in a streamlined chrome design at NZ$99. Aura is a filtered rainshower panel. Universal adds vitamin C filtration behind the showerhead you already own.

Will Suhae fit my existing shower system?

Radiance, Nourish and Universal fit the standard ½-inch threaded shower connections used in New Zealand and usually install by hand. Aura is a rainshower panel, so compatibility depends on the existing outlet. Send us a photo on WhatsApp if you are unsure.

How long does a Vita Refill last, and what does it contain?

A Vita Refill contains 25,000 mg of vitamin C and lasts two to three months, depending on household shower use. It fits Radiance, Nourish and Aura. Universal uses its own cartridge range.
